My Situation

I was injured on the job back in '07 (about 200lbs. of whiplash) and was documented. Last June, I had a neck fusion (my 2nd). I've been dealing with a nerve problem that had stemmed from the '07 injury. The nerve problem that I am experiencing is actually called a "nerve headache". I call it an episode. It feels like someone took an aluminum bat to the side of my head (used it like a softball), my neck muscles spasms (cramps/charlie-), and a stabbing sensation (an ice pick) under my eye brow. I learned that the nerve causing the pain is called the "ocipical nerve" (not sure of the spelling). The pain is on the right side.
Once the fusion healed, my Orthopedic Doctor ordered a "nerve block". So, then I was sent to a "Nerve Doctor". All I could think was...Oh Boy. To make this short, since then the Nerve Doc administered 3 epidurals and an "RFA" (radio-frequency ablation). The procedures took just the edge off (headaches were not as severe) but the "somewhat relief" only lasted anywhere from 9 days, 7 days, 5 days, and now.....2 days. During those days of "somewhat relief", I noticed that the left side had shown signs of the same pain but not to the degree of my right side. I have had a few days where the weather was just PERFECT and had no episodes though.
I'm a positive person and do not submit that easily (unless....Hmmmmmmm,).
So, that has been my journey for the last 1 yr and 3 months.

I'm not writing this for sympathy but just an "eye" into what I've been experiencing and sharing it with you. Also, If you have any questions, I'll be happy to answer them aswell.
