Boy, sure is a hot summer so far here in Overland Park. I hope everyone is staying cool and not getting big, fat water bills. This is just a check in blog. Well, vacation is over and I'm back in Overland Park KS. Nothing went on and there were no hook ups in Dillon Colorado while I was there. It's a little disappointing but I really didn't expect much being a small area.
Now that summer is in full swing and I have the home I will be hanging low until August. Hope everyone has a great summertime and I'll be checking back a few times when I can.

I had just written this long blog and then tried to remove an alert and instead of removing it, I was taken away from my blog page, I hit the back tab and IT IS ALL GONE!!! SHIT, I was on a roll too. Oh well, I can't duplicate it now, all my rant is gone.

Well since KU was beaten yesterday by VCU does that mean that the metro KC area is done with the NCAA basketball tournament? I bet pretty much. I really don't think anyone has any of the Final Four teams in their brackets. Why else watch? Besides, what passes in this town for Major League Baseball starts up Thursday. So the so called "hometown team" lost in basketball and now everyone is looking forward to watching the hometown baseball team lose also. Seems like just about every sports team in or around here is losing or is likely to lose. Just my random thoughts on that.

Well another snow storm,I'm so sick of the snow. It finally gets all melted and then BAM! More snow, and maybe not just 1 storm but a couple more. Shovel, blow, shovel, blow. Clean off vehicle over and over. Oh, and you just can't pull into the garage with all that road snow/slush crud on your vehicle, you have to stop on the side of the road and kick or brush all that junk off or it will mess up the garage floor. Repeat, repeat, repeat. Oh, and maybe the OP city plow will be down your street in about 48 hours after the snow has stopped. Then you have to go back out and shovel all the shit he pushed up on the driveway. I don't think these last two winters are normal around here. As the inches pile up my demeanor gets worse and worse over this damn winter. That is it for my rant. Thinking about maybe upgrading to silver or gold for 3 months. That would just be enough before school gets out and I'm stuck without getting on Senior Sizzle for the summer, unless I can find like summer school for a half or full day. Well its 2011 and I have begun to seriously think about rejoining the Senior Sizzle membership. Just not for sure if I should do Silver or Gold.

Hello all,
yes I know its been awhile. Family matters has taken me away from writing any blog for some time.
Well I'm back today to write some of my thoughts on the IM here at Senior Sizzle.

Well, I've decided to change my profile.
