Spotting Fake Profiles

It's no secret that a huge number of profiles on Senior Sizzle and similar websites are fake. We define a fake profile as one that fails to adequately represent the identity or intentions of the person(s) behind the keyboard.
The vast majority of fake profiles are men who pretend to be women. However fake profiles also include men pretending to be couples, or couples pretending to be single women. Hell, we're sure there's women out there that pretend to be men or couples. Anonymity is part of what makes the internet beautiful.
However it can really get in the way of Senior Sizzle helping you actually find adult friends.
Now, it doesn't make it impossible to find what you're actually looking for. In the end Senior Sizzle is still a great site for finding other adults. However it definitely makes it take more time and effort than it otherwise would, and that can be disappointing.
In an ideal world Senior Sizzle and similar websites would take preventative measures against fake profiles, such as requiring proof of identification when creating an account, or creating a system where users could rate the honesty of other accounts and flag accounts as fake.
Unfortunately, websites like Senior Sizzle benefit from the existence of fake accounts. The vast majority of users are looking for single women. The vast majority of fake accounts pretend to be women. Therefore, fake accounts benefit the websites. There have even been recent news articles that prove some websites create fake female accounts for this reason (Senior Sizzle was NOT one of them).
While we don't believe that Senior Sizzle directly creates fake accounts, it is clear they take a very laissez faire view on policing these accounts. This is great news for people that make fake accounts, and not so great news for people who are actually looking to meet people.
That leaves real people with real accounts with two options. Either give up and leave... OR get really good at spotting fake accounts. Here are some tips to help you out, and we'd love to hear your tips as well.
Rule #1: Assume nothing. That profile that looks really fake? That's Jessica, a cute college student. That profile that looks legit and has lots of effort put into it? That's Harold, a 70 year old retiree that owns twelve cats.
Rule #2: Consistency matters. Do the pictures and the profile match? The pictures should reflect the profile information. Pics are of a 20 year old girl but the profile says they're 40? That's inconsistent. Are the pics of a tall girl but their height is listed as 5'0"? That's inconsistent. Do they say they're shy and don't have much experience, but have full frontal nudes and pics of themselves being fucked? That's inconsistent.
Rule #3: Reverse Image Search. If you don't know what it is, look it up and learn about it. It can save you tons of time otherwise wasted on wild goose chases.
Rule #4: Pull the trigger. So... you've been chatting with that cute girl that lives twenty minutes away for two, three months now? Don't you think it's about time you launch phase 2 of your plan and ask her out? Aww, don't want to ruin what you have together? Then maybe you're not exactly here to meet people, either.
Rule #5: No, seriously, pull the trigger. A reasonable relationship progression on Senior Sizzle is anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks of messaging back and forth to ensure chemistry and compatibility, followed by a meeting in person. Less than a few days interaction seems hasty to us (however we're sure some of you have done sooner; we get requests to meet "tonight!" so sure it happens). However you really shouldn't still be "just chatting" a month in. Are you here to meet IRL or not?
Rule #6: Cut your losses. So you've asked her out... and she TOTALLY wants to! But she has this thing. You know the one, right? She can definitely meet when it's over. Not too long from now. She can still chat in the meantime, though. She LOVES to chat with you. Dirty chat. Really dirty chat. While waiting for that thing to happen. Say something nice or sexy to her while she's waiting for the thing. Oh, the thing should have happened by now? Well, yeah, it did, but you know now there's this new thing! Don't worry, we can meet as soon as this new thing is done! It should be anytime now...
Rule #7: Read profiles carefully. For whatever reason, some people on this site don't feel like their account settings should have to match their profile descriptions. There are more than a few couples on here that use single female profiles. Admittedly sometimes this is outside of their control (such as when one of them was formerly single but now is part of a couple), however other times it is knowingly exploited. Regardless, it is a good idea to read profiles carefully so you know what you're getting into.
Rule #8: Testimonials are a double-edged sword. On the one hand, they can serve as proof that you are talking to someone that matches their profile and has met up with other people in the past, and therefore can reasonably be expected to do so again. On the other hand, some people don't understand how testimonials work, and will post them for people they have never actually met. This is great news for people with fake profiles, as it can make it seem like they regularly meet up with others. Double check to make sure the testimonials are legit statements, and not just a shout out to a hot profile.
Rule #9: Cut your losses pt. 2. If they're not willing to meet up (just yet!), then ask to webcam with them, or trade pictures where you're holding up the other's profile name. FAKERS BANK ON THE FACT THAT MOST PEOPLE ARE HUGE PUSSIES! We hate conflict, we hate confrontation, we hate calling people out. Most of us prefer constant pleasant illusion to momentarily unpleasant reality.
That's why most people don't get laid very often.
