So it's been a while since I have posted on here, the real world has really got in the way but off soon for winter break so should manage a bit more time bloging random shite on here.
So not much been going on in fact I'm starting to feel like this site may just be dead; I haven't met anyone from it for months, group activity is really low and long time members have gone. This isn't an over night trend but it has been getting worse and worse.
So is anyone still meeting from here ?
If yes are you in Edinburgh area Scotland ?

Now I understand that there are other sites out there but none of them despite the problems with here offer the same range and value of service this is the most rounded site. Others will let you join for free but if you want to read your mail you need to pay or see who has viewed you then pay for it.
So really I am wondering where are all the people going ? are they just leaving the lifestyle behind or is there a new super site that surpasses here ?
So also going on a wee health kick over this festive season, since I don't do the whole X-mas chat; I'm a pagan who isn't that serious about it. So once I'm done with the social side of X-mas (it can't be avoided, sometime it's the only chance to see some of my friends) I'm going to be going on a monster beast mode for twenty days from the 21st. Going to try and post each day about how it's going to help motivate me.

Eiffel Tower

So last night I had a weird dream in which due to financial troubles I was able to buy the Eiffel tower; I was fairly chuffed but the French were shall we say less than happy, one may even go as far to say pissed off; but they're French there is always something pissing them of collectively. So I shipped the tower as one piece across the channel then up the North sea to Edinburgh. Where it was erected on Charlton hill as a celebration of Scotland's newly gained independence.
Not sure what this dream means, maybe I should tie my flatmate up on Carlton hill, or I should invade Paris with a liberated tank (anyone get the reference?)
It's weird cause I haven't even seen a picture on the Eiffel tower in a movie or anything for ages maybe even this year, so it's odd that it should pop into my head. I was also sober and not under the influence of any substance not even cheese.

So I was out doing some promoting and fund raising today on the mound in Edinburgh and I saw a familiar face, It was someone from the site and it took a second for it to register where I knew her face from.

Life back in Edinburgh

So just getting used to being back in the 'burgh, its great got so many opportunities for entertainment, great bars, restaurants art cinemas culture its hard to know where to start.
Well its little to surprise to those that know me I started with a great bar and a couple of very nice beers catching up with a mate before he left the country, which I was very happy about cause I thought he'd be gone by the time I got here.
Next port of call was the gym needed to join one to deal with the beer I'd been/will be drinking thankfully there is one just down the road from me (its name isn't something you're likely to find on here) have been a few times already including a personal trainer session yesterday. I'm still sore, but its great good facilities and even better its mixed steam and sauna which means no naked old men doing their stretches in the sauna. Also get to chat to some fit young women always a bonus.
The whole reason for moving back other than I fucking love this city is college getting me some more education, so far it has been fine nothing too challenging more kind of getting to know class mates and intro to subject kind of stuff, class ratio is 4 to 1 women to men and all bar one are hot its almost unfair, so hard to concentrate at times; at the risk of sounding old when did fashion change so the skin tight wet look leggings and a crop top became daily wear ? Just realised its one year sine I decided to use this blog as a tracker for how gym sessions were going.
Well it didn't really happen the blogging that is. I spent last october november and december getting up at 5am to go to the gym most days watching what I was eating and getting fit again.
Then I got into craft beer....
I spent nights drinking some of the best beer on the planet, which was great but did mean I stopped getting up at 5am.
Then I went and got a second job so with a working week of over 60 hours I could find enough time to do it right.
Then in march I moved to Edinburgh its great I'm still working loads over 5o hours a week but now in a job I love.
Finally started going to the gym again in april and was doing great till the fringe! working 10am till 4am didn't leave time for the gym barely till to sleep, but it was great fun.
Now Im getting back into the gym its great going to take alot of hard work and self-control but think I can make It work.
Been using this online order thing called graze where they send you a wee box of healthy snacks to help stop you snaking on rubbish found it to be a great help.
