How to find real people?

OK. Most of the people who I've interacted with were fake profiles. So, I'm going to start a blog designed to create a discussion around what guys have done, or noticed, that attracts real women to interact with them.
I'll start with a couple of observations.
- When I search I always filter for people who are gold and online. If a member isn't gold they've never been real.
- I tried to filter for verified but that turns up too few results. I haven't verified myself so I can't really complain about that.
- People who wink or flirt are 100% fake and just want to get me to switch from the Senior Sizzle platform to my personal website, likely to send me malware.
- Single women profiles are weird. If they're under 40 they're definitely fake. If they're over 40 there's a chance they're real. But, they seem to get flooded with messages so there's still no interaction.
Anybody notice anything else to avoid, or had different experiences?
