Description?
What I want. When I want.

I used to have a decently coherent bunch of words here, and then, somehow, Senior Sizzle lost it. I don't remember it all, but I will bring one thing back:

The Bender Quote of the Week:

"Hahahahahaha... Oh wait! You were serious. Let me laugh even harder. HAHAHAHAHA"

FINALLY

I FINALLY went and saw 'Iron Man' today. A few thoughts:
This movie does better because the character isn't as whiny as the most Marvel heroes. Being a hero just feeds Stark's ego. He loves it. Oh, when he gets to the negatives, he'll do a little moping, but maybe we got what little of that we'll see when he went all crazy genius and built the second suit.

Another score for the movie is less focus on CGI. That was, to me, a drawback with 'Transformers'. Yes, I realize that CGI is neccessary for that movie, but fucking Micheal Bay (as was sang in 'Team America: World Police', why does he keep getting to make movies? And I miss you girl.) can't do character development or plotline. He's got to have big effects or he's sunk. I fear CGI will take something away from 'Speed Racer'. Then again, there isn't much character development to do, there. I hope I enjoy it. I grew up on it.

By the way, even guys who have made great movies can fall victim to the lure of special effects. Lucas let it ruin four out of six Star Wars movies. That, and the pure, sickly-sweet gimmicky bullshit Ewoks. Die, Ewoks!!!

Where was I?

Well, it looks like a comic book movie summer. 'The Dark Knight', 'Hellboy 2', and 'The Incredible Hulk' (not sure if it's a sequel or what, but it's surprising after the failure of 'The Hulk'. More evidence that there are no ideas left in Hollywood. I expect to see a sequel to 'Mystery Men' and a movie version of 'The Tick' next. How about live-action Ren and Stimpy?

Now, for a bit of trivia. My thumbnail was taken last year when I was working on a costume for Halloween. I was going as Nick Fury. He will be in the next Iron Man, played by Samuel L. Jackson. They can do this because there are versions of Nick as a black man, and others of him as white. Of course, I'd do the white one. If you don't know who Nick Fury is, your geek cred is hereby questioned and will most likely be revoked.

I look awesome in a blue spandex bodysuit. With lots of guns.

Triple-subject post. That's right. I'm THAT fucking crazy.

[brFirst subject is a random fact for your amusement.
A can of tomato paste can release a pretty sizable amount of pressure if it's not VERY carefully opened. The splatter is comparable to what you'd get if you severed your carotid artery. Go ahead, try it and see.

Next subject!
The neighbors HAVE to know I heard them today. I was in the basement when they started. I was NOT quiet. I had the boombox I keep down there on. I made no attempt to be quiet. THEN they started? Oh yea.. It's on, now. I either need to put porn on a CD and play it through the stereo OR ONE OF YOU SEXY WOMEN MUST AID ME IN MY QUEST FOR VENGEANCE!!! Second option sounds better to me.

Last subject!!
I saw Alien vs. Predator 2. They've turned the whole thing into a monster-movie, like a zombie movie. Same setup, just change the setting. That sucks. The original Alien rocked! The only movie to give me nightmares. Heck, I haven't had a nightmare since I talked my Dad into taking me to see a 9PM showing on a school night when it was originally released. I'm not lying. No nightmares since I was ten.

Surprise fourth subject!!
Caught ya napping! Great movie idea! Sarah Connor and Ellen Ripley buddy action movie! Wouldn't that kick ass? Terminator and aliens and predators, all mixed together! Awesome!

A magical city!

Apparently, Dayton, Ohio, is a magical place! Why do I say that? According to Senior Sizzle's home page, I am 5914 miles from EVERYBODY online.

This is great news for my military. Few, if any missiles, can reach me and nobody wants to carry on a war halfway 'round the world.

This is bad news for my sex life, as it means that any attempt at meeting will fail. As I attempt to get closer, you, my lovelies, will just move so that you remain a constant 5914 miles away. Quite an impressive effort, just to foil my attempts at coitus.

Geographus interruptus.
