At the top of our profile we list that we are not interested in meeting Trump supporters. We have received many responses with support but, from time to time, we receive criticism that we bring politics into a dating site. Here's our take on this.
Good sex is not just a physical experience. It is a fusion of intellectual, emotional, spiritual and, yes, physical, energy. So not only is it important that you think your partners are beautiful and that their bodies feel good, it is equally essential that you think they are intelligent, creative, compassionate and interesting human beings. The more you appreciate your partners in different fields the higher the chances that you will have great fun in bed.
Therefor it is completely appropriate, wise even, to take political leanings into consideration when you are selecting partners. What's more, we're sapiosexuals and we are very aware of that. When we encounter intelligent, creative and funny people they become more beautiful in our minds, our fun in bed is multiplied, our orgasms are longer and stronger. We have had wonderful experiences with other couples, men and women where we fluidly move from sex to jokes to intellectual and political discourse and back to sex for many hours.
To suggest politics has no role on a dating site is to suggest attraction has no mental, intellectual or spiritual component. It is the suggestion that sex is only about physical fulfillment. This is a shallow view that can not lead to the deep human connections and wonderful bonds that can take sex to another dimension.
This dating site actually acknowledges that it is important to have the ability to select partners on things other than physical features: when you fill out your profile there are questions about religion, education and social orientation.
