What was with all her little sideways glances? Was she leaving us a "sexy" message while her boyfriend/husband/ was in the next room? ooooh, how mischievous!

Episode 1: "Uh, that's okay..."
Alright.... best place to start is at the beginning. The first girl I met on here was right after I first joined back when I still lived in Los Angeles, so I'm thinking about June of 2005. Damn, that's a long time ago. But I remember it clearly... because it was the ONE bad experience I've had on here. Actually, it wasn't all THAT bad... I'm sure people have had worse, but things could have gone either way after that. I could have given up right then. Thank goodness I didn't!
Let's just say I learned the very important lesson of seeing a picture before you meet someone.
I was excited about the prospect of meeting someone on here (for the possibility of actual sex... WOW!) so I was willing to throw caution to the wind and meet someone the first chance I got. I don't remember her name. Her profile was very honest about the fact that she was a "large" girl but I didn't let that bother me. I must have liked what she wrote, but like I said, there was no picture.
We arranged somehow to meet at some local park picnic area one evening. Looking back, I imagine she must have done that before. I don't know if I would recommend that to a woman but it actually was nice. Better than yet another coffee meeting.
I'm not one to cast too many aspersions but "large" didn't even come close to being accurate. I've dated plenty of overweight girls in my life and I'd take that over a stick-figure every time, but this girl would have killed me. As in crushed.
Now I might have let it go.... to be honest, she didn't lie. But what killed it for me was her personality. She was a real downer. I remember we spent a lot of time talking about how she was injured in some kind of auto accident so she had all this pain and injuries and her goal was to save up enough money to get gastric-bypass surgery. Call me crazy, but I wasn't really turned on, you know?
The conversation was winding down and the moment came. I remember it like it was yesterday. She said, "So how would you feel if I said we should go back to your place?" I can't remember my response but suffice it to say, we didn't.
We parted ways and that was that. I saw her profile go by in searches for a few years afterwards but have no idea if she's still on here. I wonder if she ever had that surgery? I remember she was a nice person though. Hopefully she had some fun.
I sure did later on...
