Cheating
Cheating Is cheating really worth it? I was caught in a motel with another guy and now my husband has had me arrested for adultery. It is a crime that is punishable with 30 days in jail $500 fine or 1 year probation for both parties. I ask again is it really worth it? |

Does Arizona count as "civilized?" Statistics show this is a rarely enforced law so there must be something else going on. It is highly UNlikely you'll be jailed for adultery here in AZ. It is more likely it will effect your divorce situation. When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

You already answered your own question. Cheating is like gambling. You never play with money you cannot afford to lose.

I have to report to the jail in February for this. My husband is standing by my side for now as long as we go to counseling.

I thought that law was thrown out ages ago. You need a better attorney, and yes dump that asshole husband. If he told the cops that it was OK you wouldn't be in this situation. This is one reason I moved away from the state I was raised in AZ, to a civilized state CA

My husband tried to drop the charges but when he turned me in for drugs and adultery the DA wanted information from me that I would not give up so he keep both charges.

The drugs were not the point. The point is the cheating.
