As time goes on. A poem by me.
I used to long for your body
I used to long for your touch
I used to long for your lips on mine.

I used to long to gaze at your beauty
I used to long to stare into your eyes
I used to long to hear your heart as it lay next to mine.

On the day you left
I fell to my knees and wept
I thought I was lost without you.

But as time goes by
I find I am fine
Even knowing I'm broken inside.

I may not be the same
Maybe better in a way
It may be crazy, But thank you.
