Oh, I have a few small requests... and these are to remind people that I had an off-beat, somewhat macabre sense of humor, and hopefully to set off a few giggles, eye rolls, and head shakes.  At my viewing/memorial, I wish to have the song "Pop Goes the Weasel" play, right before the start of anything that anyone wants to say. I also wish to have someone dressed up as the Grim Reaper, complete with scythe (fake of course but real-looking), who will randomly point to someone in the audience every now and then. In addition, I wish to have on the inside of the memorial pamphlets, two lyrical quotes from two of my favorite bands: "A tous le monde, a tous mes amis, Je vous aime, Je dois partir", from A Tout le Monde by Megadeth. "My body lies, yet still I roam", from Wherever I May Roam by Metallica. Various other selected music that touches on such a somber time will be playing also. Though I haven't really compiled a permanent list of that yet. What to do with my body? Well, for those who truly wish to "keep me around", there are these pendants you can buy that will hold a very small amount of a loved one's ashes, and they hang from a necklace. There are also these places that will take your cremated remains, and place you into a biodegradable potted container with a tree seed in it, to be planted in the ground. This creation is based off of the saying We were born of the Earth, and to the Earth we shall return, and I think both of those items/things are very interesting and thoughtful to do for a departed loved one. Or my next of kin can just BBQ my happy arse, stick a small amount of me in a batch of brownies, and EAT ME!  So.. about that Grim Reaper idea.. ya think your friends have a sense of humour? lol omg... ๐ โบ๏ธ๐ฎ Interesting concept with the tree planting... But I'm really not sure about BBQ you! lol ๐... Now live you? I might want to taste that... hmmm Did I just say that out loud? ๐ค OMG... lol Interesting stuff... for sure! ๐ Megadeth right? I was at the cemetery too!! Must have been a fatherโs day thing to do. I am giving my body to science. - my family can celebrate as they wish!

Yeah... that playlist will be an eclectic mish mash of a whole bunch of styles and types of songs. That ZZ Top song - Le Grange... for sure. The songs have to have a strong beat! And good tune! I have signed up as an organ donor so salvageable body parts and tissue will be harvested. Whatever is left will be cremated. There will be no sad songs or standing around mourning. Hopefully, some will gather to share fond memories and laughs while raising a glass of Stoneleigh ( Sauvignon Blanc). Ham, scalloped potatoes, corn and carrots will remind them of my โgo toโ meal.
