Sleeping in somebody else's wet spot.

Did you know that about half of the infrastructure budget is spent on subways and railways? Here in the leftie left they just added another gas tax, even worse this one automatically increases with inflation!

The vast monies come from those taxes, both State and federal. So we that have cars and use them for all or most of our traveling pays for the carless big city folks and the one in a billion that here in California wants to get to Bakerfield really fucking fast! As that is where our new bullet train heads toward. The only good thing I can see from it is those who feel stuck in that hell hole can get OUT really fucking fast!

What the hell is going on in our country any more? Up is down and left is right. We take money from who won't benifit to build things. Or way worse we treat non citizens better then fellow Americans.

We need to start from scratch and stop thinking if we only drill a bigger hole in the boat to let the water out we'll be okay. And WHY can't we find waste as a means to fund needs. Some say it's Niclels and Dimes but isn't that what everyone weekly taxes taken out of their checks? I don't hear anyone in government saying "it's only eighty six bucks, let him/her keep it" They'll spend the cost of a stamp to collect a penny.

Prove to me that half of the American pubic use bullut trains and subways and I'll shut up. If not the amout of use and dollars should mirror eachother or far closer then they do.

Gov. Skidmark is selling his agenda saying his train will be faster than flying when you factor in airport traffic and security issues. This is only true if they have stations at both ends where there is no traffic and the trains are non-stop between LA and SF. By my best guess, they will need trains leaving at both ends at least every hour to be worthwhile. Also, I don't recall Gov. Skidmark ever talking about how many homes, businesses, and orchards are going to be impacted. Finally, although I am doing my part (not my choice) in paying for this boondoggle, I probably won't live long enough to ever ride on it. Maybe I can have my nephew or niece take my ashes for a ride.

Not to add wood to the fire but although it WAS to run between L.A? and S.F. They moved it to the Central Valley so great news if you want to go to Fresno! And if that's you, you should seek help in my humble opinion. Surely not the worse place on earth but come on.

Jerry's choo choo train will be used mostly by protesters going from San Francisco to LA and back. Naturally illegals and erly release felons will have a free train pass to make them "equal" to all the folks that pay taxes to support them.

I especially like fees listed as tbd. No idea what they are applied to. Car tabs in this instance.
