 The unofficial rule in law enforcement is don't swerve and don't lock ur brakes!
Too many people getting injured or killed over wildlife on the road!

 Maybe the wildlife isn't really slow - just learning disabled.
Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

 Can't post images in blogs but there are several 'slow children playing' signs ... which is very much jumping to conclusions of you ask me. They could be just going through a phase!
