A world without men

A world without men I just finished watching a movie on Netflix called No men beyond this point. It's a alternate timeline where the human race all of a sudden started reproducing a asexually and since women lack a Y chromosome all where girls and men where dying out and the effects on society. Some things I think the movie got right in a world were men where a dying breed. Like the stagnation of technology and the one world government. Others I think would never happen. Like herding men into sanctuaries and women giving up on sex but it got me thinking. What would happen if women started to only be able to reproduce asexually? What kind of world would it be if like in the movie those in charge ignored the problem until it was too late and men were going extinct? Here's what I think would happen. 60% women- The good years. Not much changes. Governments loosen immigration restrictions to help with the loss of manpower. Technology companies invest modestly in robotics to cover the problem. 70% women- A feminist wet dream/ Felling the sting. Societies are overwhelmingly female throwing the social order into chaos. Traditional and conservative women start to put pressure on government to do something about the problem. Liberal government officals with a now predominantly female constituency and themselves being perdominatly female are empowered to inact legalization giving women mandatory paid maternity leave also universal health care and basic income bills pass. The economy is in free fall and this second new deal is seen as a cure all. A new tax structure is created raising them considerably for the wealthy to pay for it. Socially men are rare. Heterosexual men have a lot of power in the sexual marketplace. So finding a faithful husband is difficult. An billon dollar industry pops up on how to find and keep a man. Sexual assault on women are nearly non-existent. 80% women -Full collapse. The second new deal has made the economy worse. The only thing stopping mass starvation is the productions of robotics. Governments pool resources, implement mandatory birth control for every women of bearing age and begin forcing gifted women and into STEM and biological fields to solve the issue. Socially women take to the streets in protest of the economic issues and the governments lack of response to the lack of men. Sexual assault towards men are more frequent and marriage is abolished. Infrastructure is collapsing making the economy worse. The third world is devoid of humans as mass migration to more developed countries overwhelm the already strained economy's leading to a complete collapse. The governments response is force. Using militaries to keep populations in line. 90% women -New world order. Robotics replace men in every part of society. We have a much more collaborative society but innovation is stagnate. Governments that pooled resources are so interconnected that they become one. Life for women is good but bland and mundane. The men that are left are taken to medical facilities to be studied and their DNA mapped. 100% women- A woman's world. Violent crimes are rare. Mostly sexual assaults. Men are written out of history books to spare any undue stress and eventually we become a myth. Robotics make work as we know it obsolete so many women live lives of quite desperation. Well that's my thoughts. |
