Why Why Why

So many say they wont to meet & will meet, but when comes time to meet, they dont turn up, or even ring or message. Why say yes when you have no intentions to meet or play. Be honest & up front.

 I wonder about this as well. My assumption is they like the thrill of the chase but then chicken out.

 How I deal with this is pretty simple. I let them know I'll call them 24 hours in advance to confirm, not text, not send a message here, not email. I need to hear their voice. When I call to confirm, if I get them at all, I let them know that they need to call me 30 minutes before to confirm. I tell them that if I don't hear from them, I assume they are not coming and I won't be there either.

The thing is, people who are going to flake out for any reason, will rarely take to time and effort to do the 30 minute confirmation.
