Fireworks Show
Thursday as I was getting ready for work and heard that there was going to be a fireworks show that night in celebration of Canada's 150th Birthday. This was being put on by three local companies who's conception also date back to the birth of our country. And how I love fireworks!! So I grabbed my camera and tripod. I had a hard time finding a place to view them and be able to get some nice shots. In the end I was not able to use my tripod. It is times like this when I miss my balcony with the perfect view of the fireworks and space to set up my tripod, *sigh*

 Would liked to have gone down to see those, but gotta wonder why it was decided to have them on a weeknight rather than a weekend?

My understanding is that there was another event going on in recognition of these companies and the fireworks show was the ending of that event. There were a lot of people out to see them. One of my co-workers told me it took her over an hour to get out of the uptown area that night. I saw a sea of red light (brake lights) as I crossed the harbor on the highway. Thanks, I thought I did well holding it steady. And no I did not have it on the roof of the car or braced on anything.
