Screen name vs real name usage

I have seen posts where individuals responding to a post will use the bloggers real name in lieu of their screen name. When I see this it makes me wonder what the blogger thinks - did they give them permission to use their real, is the blogger upset their real name was used, etc.

A few people here know my real name, but I have not given them permission to use it when communicating to me in a public forum; granted I haven't said they couldn't either. I believe common courtesy would dictate they use a person's screen name in a public forum, but am curious to other's opinion.

With that said, what say you?

 I go by V and that is for Victoria.. People like to keep this a secret until they get to know you better..All to do with the stalkers on this site. Yes we have stalkers! I go by V in real life hugssssss V
