Loving Communication A Poem
Loving Communication A Poem Loving Communication Written in 20 While in the throes of melancholy, She was barely fit for company. He tiptoed around her Picking up when he could. Objects and subjects that Had escaped her attention. He knew this episode would pass. Like a summer shower. For he had seen it before In a different hour. He loved her for her depth of feeling. How could he denigrate her now? What she was experiencing was overwhelming And she had to let it lose its stronghold. And he recalled She had done the very same for him. When he was less than sunny In his disposition. Then in an eureka moment He had the very idea that could save them both. They could make a pact. He would bring her one rose Or another cherished flower And a note with a poem. And were she similarly distressed with his actions She could bring him a beverage And a poem of his own. This will not solve everything of course. But it probably could not hurt. To know a lover has one's best interest In their mind and heart. They could tweak this formula It could have many renditions. But they would all have this in common, Understanding that communication Was their ultimate desire. And their shared wish. Independently Romantic Sounds Better Than Lonely |
