I think its great that you are taking charge of your fitness. I went threw a 8 week diet course once a week for two hours. No pills, fads and surgery. please fill free to ask for any suggestion.

I not sure about saying this, But what the hell Feb 10th 2014 I weighed 299 lbs as of today I maintain a weight of 168 lbs. So maybe if you have any question please ask. one thing I do at home is I do some yoga while I watch TV.

If I was prying I apologize

Hi Fantasy,

Sounds like you are doing well! I just lost 15# since the beginning of the year too.
For me it mainly took discipline. I think I can continue this for another 10 or 15# (down to 150 - 155 @ 5'10") because I managed to continue the loss even through an 11 day cruise I just came back from. I do not really excise much. I just eat smaller portions, pick carbohydrates only sparingly, and avoid many, many snack temptations. Actually I just limit myself to one snack a day and deserts only on occasion (a couple of times a week). That is really all it takes for me -- your mileage may vary.

Oh! the most important thing! Daily weighing. When I started plotting the measurements on a spreadsheet, the rate of weight loss increased a lot.

So I recommend recording your naked weight daily (when practical) and plotting it every week or so with a linear trend line to see how effective you are being.

Good luck! Oh, it is nice to lose a bit more, but I will date you as you are now!
