So... there I was minding my own business last night... when it happened...

So... there I was minding my own business last night... when it happened... So... there I was minding my own business last night... when it happened... I was on FB reading and posting comments to friends and family... when... out of the blue... I get a response from a female musician that I've been tracking since last year... Yes, you know me... I posted on her FB page and said that I luved her music... she posted back on my page with a new rendition of her song that came out a couple of days ago... The song that I had referenced was "Beautiful Lie"... Oh, she sings it with such passion... and, in the video... I know that she is looking at me... I may have to update my "Sliding top 30"... OMG... are you kidding me... "Well maybe one day it will seem a little clearer...It's a beautiful life we're given... It's a beautiful lie we're livin'" - Madelyn Grant - "Beautiful Lie" At first, I thought I was dreaming... so, I pinched myself... and, then I logged out of FB and came back in... and, sure enough... she had posted the song on my page.... how cool is that??? Now, I didn't ask her for a local number or anything... I did ask her when she was coming to Dallas so that I could make passionate luv to her while she was singing "Seven Seas" to me... Ok... so, I didn't ask include the passionate luv making comment... but, you get my point... "And now we find ourselves in love... personal hell... when your escape is your destruction, we're drowning from within..." Emancipator - "Seen Seas" feat. Madelyn Grant... She wrote back that she hoped she could make it to Dallas soon... and, then, bid me good night... So... I was on cloud 3000... not '9'... Today, I've spent listening to her songs... It's not often that you capture a moment of someone's attention that you have connected with... yet, they didn't know that they moved you, let alone that you even existed on the planet... that you breathed and exhaled slowly while listening to that sexy, beautiful voice... and, that you got to see her sing in her videos... and, she hasn't seen me... only the pics that I post... "the mask i hide behind is one..." I have to say that I slept good last night... No, I'm not madly in love with her... but, it was kind of neat to interact with a singer whose voice and lyrics move me... I wonder how it will be when I am with a lover that might listen to her music and like it... would that almost be like a threesome??? Oh my... I must be like a thinking thoughts like this... What a wonderful experience! To have someone whose music you enjoy to respond back to an innocuous fan-type posting. Your love and knowledge of music certainly puts you into interesting situations. Now I must check out Madelyn Grant and see what has drawn you in. Thanks for posting this.
