Hunger of the pine...

Hunger of the pine... Hunger of the pine... I've listened to this song today... No, I'm not sad... I'm happy because I've had some of you reach out to me, that had been missing for quite some time.... or, you just noticed this fragile heart, or you just had a few minutes to sweep the flying monkeys away so that you could immerse yourself in a rebel of a different kind... much like the song lyrics to this song... I like two versions of this song... the original by Alt-J because one of my almost, sliding top 30 (I love her song 'Adore you'), Miley Cyrus sings the line 'I'm a female rebel'... and, that is enough to send me thru the roof... but, only a music aficionado like me would look at it that way... the other version of the song is by the group 'Vaults'... and their video is much different than Alt-J's video... very different... but, anyway, I looked up the meaning of the song and here it is... The lyrics mainly suggest the idea that "missing someone — pining — can be a physical pain much like hunger." And, that is how I feel about some I've grown close to on this cyber planet... I've not met any of you face to face... the one I met last year in person, is long gone country sally... she is a wonderful woman, but, has eyes for another... My point to this blog is two-fold: First, to let you know that I do appreciate time invested... if you don't have the time... it's ok... there will be others here to suit you and your needs... but, if by chance, after all is said and done, you want an encounter with a mind that seeks to understand first, then, we may be in the right place... so... thanks for the reach out... I do luv it... Second, when you drop off the face of this mask of a world after months of ethereal exploration of this wanting soul, it does affect me... because, we have shared a space, however, fragile and/or inconsequential it might seem to you, I do enjoy the reading and posting... especially, if there is a mutual benefit either in learning a new style or a way of thinking or just the sharing of ideas... So, having said that... I have also: taken down posts that have offended people; apologized for an insensitive thing that I may have stated...; ignored a blogger that used my blog as a way to send messages to another... But, I only state these things just so that you all know, that this is not a bot, or a paid servant... or an animal... oh sure, I may take you places you want to go to, but, only if you want to and both minds are in sync... if not, then I will not be the one... as I'm not a saint; I'm not a savior; I won't fix you (I hate that 'cause one of my fav songs is 'fix you' by coldplay)... but, I will let you be you and, please let me be me... I have listened to both versions of these songs twice... while writing this blog... I'd like to know what you think of both of the renditions of this song... each, does something different to me... thanks for the read... Hi BiggLala! Thanks for reading and commenting on my blog. As we have been reading and texting to each other for quite sometime you and I have been comfortable reading our imaginative, sometimes spontaneous and erotic visions from our minds. So, you get me! And , most do... So, awhile back, I posted what I thought was one of my better comedic posts. I laughed after I read it. However, one of the blogger's that shared reading and writing on each other's blogs took offense to it, because it dealt with the issue of sanity. Now, I wrote it as a tongue in cheek piece and never dreamed of offending anyone, but, some people look forward to reading blogs much more than I do. And, my blog must of upset her... So, posted on one of her blogs that I was sorry, and hadn't meant to offend and that I would take it down. The next day, I took it down. While the blog generated substantial laughs for others, it didn't for her... She has never read any more of my posts. And, that's ok because, for me a 'Dreamboy' to some, I am here for free... And, I do enjoy the cyber women (I hope that they are all women) that have an indicated that they want to invest time in reading and challenging me with questions and songs or lyrics or Haikus or whatever... Some have even challenged me to write blogs with their ideas.. I've done that a couple of times and some have written erotic blogs for me... Some have started using some of my isms in their posts which flatters the hell out of me...some have put me in their blogs... So, I'm very lucky to interact with women such as yourself on a variety of levels... That makes me an easy going person... I try to be nice, but it doesn't always come out that way... And, I am human... I make mistakes, but I do like who I am, so I move on... I hope that you were able to listen, maybe view the videos of each rendition on YouTube. Hi Joy! That's because you get me... As you know we have things in common, things that haven't been laid out perfectly, but, enough written that we understand each other. I like that. We don't judge, we don't criticize, and sometimes we vent, and it's ok... We shouldn't let things fester inside us... Because that cheapens the soul... Like you I can forgive and forget, and yet every now and then our inner beast surfaces in a roar saying 'I am here, deal with me!' And then, we go back to our nature!!! Because it's in our nature to just be!!! I'm god that you have had a chance to enjoy the songs do this easy going soul... Some are little gems and lately peeps have been introducing me to new music. I like that... My daughter is calling me a diva, because the last cd I burned, contained many songs by artists that she had never heard of. I told her that I have introduced her to an open mind, so that she can appreciate all kinds of music... My daughter in law mentioned to me this weekend, that years ago I had exposed her to 'the weeknd' when he wasn't a household name. But that's just a simple man's point of view.
