Azhar and I make it to the bottom of the pyramid... and, she says ocean time!!! Azhar and I make it to the bottom of the pyramid... and, she says: 'ocean time!!!' I'm all for that... it's noon and the bus is scheduled to leave the mayan ruins of Chichen Itza at 2:00pm...This will put us back at Cancun around 4:00pm. And, we should have about 3 hours swim time... fun in the sun. However, the muckety mucks from the ruins love Azhar, and they offer to fly us via helicopter to our resort on one condition... they would like for us to join them on their yacht that is anchored near the 'Secrets Silversands' resort. To our good fortune, they had a party already planned for some VIPs that had come in a day ago... I look at Azhar and ask her what she thinks... she says: 'I not love in helicopter'... I just start laughing... and she kisses me, 'cause she knows she said a joke'... What's funny is that we have had crazy sex the past two days and we are both really tired... but, we need to feel the sand under our feet, hear the ocean, swim in the water and just relax... It takes 30 minutes to get everything lined up and we are off for the 20 minute helicopter ride to the yacht... we both catch a quick nap in the noisy helicopter... it's like falling asleep in the womb of your mother... before we know it, we have landed on the yacht... yes, this is one of those 200 foot yachts... I was thinking something cozy maybe 60 feet or so... But, no, this one is huge and the helicopter lands on top of it... how cool is that... Awzam... We get out and the party is already in full swing... we are taken to the main dining room and there is a feast to be had... Kristi is there in a blue bathing suit with matching earrings... she clears an area for us to join her... It's go time... I am hungry... Azhar is hungry... and we dig in... I'm talking shrimp; oysters on the half shell; tuna; red snapper; and all kinds of vegetables; salads; OMG... I probably put on 10 lbs that day... but, it was all good... we polish off a meal fit for kings and queens and then head to the pool deck... yes, the pool deck on the yacht... there are two diving boards one for the ocean and one for the pool... decadence is decadent... we sit in parasol covered chairs letting our food digest as we watch other guests dive into the ocean... Kristi tells us that the ocean is not too deep where we are and that the owner of the yacht has two lifeguards on duty just in case... one is female and kind of cute... (just joking... I'm taking some much needed R&R... After a few minutes we all take turns diving into the ocean, and then swimming in the pool till the sun sets... then, it's margarita time... OMG... what a trip... This vacation trip explains why so many people have to rest and recover when they get home from vacation; whew, what a trip so far. I think the view from the helicopter would have been to gorgeous to sleep through no matter how tired I was. But this is your story not mine. Nap when and where you want to. Enjoying the journey.

Enjoying the journey. thanks for your comments... Yes, this kind of vacation explains why one is exhausted and needs time off when they return... The helicopter view was probably incredible, but, what with the fire and the mile-high club, and Kristi and the pyramid, and the belly dancing... and all of the sense memories building up in my mind, it just took it all out of me... I had tried to be the trooper, but, I had to take a 'time-out' nap... And, yes, you are so right... it is my blog... and, I'll cry or sleep if I want to... you do know how that goes... I mean... it's like if you wear this or that, or try extending out of your comfort zone when you write, well... that is your business... and who would I be to utter a word in opposition... Oh... of course, I can offer my humble thoughts, if requested... and, I think you do request people's thoughts and/or ask questions at the end, so I am merely complying with your request... I'm glad that you like this story... it is nearing the end... as there is only one night and half a day left...
