What is your favorite Clint Eastwood directed movie?

Please tell me what your favorite Clint Eastwood directed movie is...

I'd like to know.

My personal favorite is 'The Outlaw Josey Wales'.

However, after seeing 'American Sniper' last night, I may have to re-visit...

I mean, 'Million Dollar Baby' & 'Unforgiven' are fighting for their just recognition... But, the Academy doesn't always share my opinions for films... I will have to take that up with someone sometime...

I've seen most of Clint Eastwoods' movies... and, have enjoyed all of them... But, last night when I watched 'American Sniper', I forgot who directed the movie... and, when I stayed thru the credits as did most of the viewers of this film, I saw: 'Directed by: Clint Eastwood'... and, I was reminded that he did truly direct it... How can one forget who directs a movie you ask? Well, you get mesmerized by a story that, even though you knew about it, you didn't see, hear, feel it until you watched it in a theater where only real 'Die-hard' Clint Eastwood fans were there to see it...

Yes, 'Grand Torino' touched me as did 'flags from our fathers' and 'letters from Iwo Jima'...

So, please tell me what is your favorite Clint Eastwood directed movie and why???

thanks, in advance...

have a great sunday!!!

I don't think I can choose. "Million Dollar Baby" and "Grand Torino" were both freaking amazing. All I know is he directs very powerful and impressive movies.

Heartbreak Ridge

Great casting, plot and comedy. It's the one Eastwood film I'll always watch if I come across it.

Hi Lonely...

I hadn't read the books for 'Grand Torino' or 'American Sniper'.... but, I have seen both movies.

They moved me... I also have the book 'American Sniper'. But, haven't read it... I

'm currently enjoying Brad Thor's 'Act of War'. Brad will be coming to dallas on July 15 for a book signing... I'm thinking of going to HPB to get his latest book signed...

Hi Nightsoul.

thanks for the comments...

Bridges of Madison County is a good movie... it's got real romance in it... most of his other movies don't... they may have parts that move you, but, I don't think they have romance... this is the only one, I think that does...

good choice...

thanks Nightsoul!!!

Hi BiggLala...

That is a great movie... Maybe, all of his movies are great!!!

And, we should leave it at that... Anytime, one of his movies comes on, it doesn't matter how many times I've seen it, I'll probably watch it...

thanks for your comments!!!

Have a great day...
