Only in Canada eh! Our birthday is fast approaching and I thought I would share why I am proud to live here. 1) We’re Very Polite It’s a pretty well-known fact that Canadians are famous for being polite. If we’re not holding a door open for someone or sharing a friendly smile, we’re probably apologizing several times for something that wasn’t even our fault. Better polite than rude, eh? 2) We Have Beautiful Landscapes Canada is an expansive piece of land, and it therefore has a wide range of diverse landscapes. The scenery across the country is pretty impressive, and it’s well-known for housing a lot of beauty. From the awe-inspiring majesty of the Rocky Mountains to the wide open skies of the Prairies to the lush greenery of the coast, there’s a lot to love about our country’s terrain. My favourite place is smack in the middle - Algonquin Park. 3) We Are Diverse Canada is home to people from all over the world of different ethnicities and heritages, and that’s something to be proud of! 4) We Have Cool Wildlife We have grizzly bears, polar bears, caribou, moose, beavers, wolves, bison, whales and cougars. Chances are good you will see this wildlife in action! 5) We Are Really Good at Hockey - need I say more 6) We Gave the World Ryan Gosling, Ryan Reynolds, Keanu Reaves and Jim Carrey Canada is home to some very talented people, the above mentioned being just a few of many. But let’s be honest: what would the world do without The Notebook or Dumb and Dumber? Not to mention Joni Mitchell, Neil Young and Lenoard Cohen. Honourable mentions to BACON, Poutine and Maple Syrup. Canada continually ranks at the top of the scale for quality of life, humanitarian outreach and overall the best ranked countries in the world. Did I mention we are sexy as hell tooooo,,,,   |

Damn it...you forgot to mention Hockey and current World Champions of Basketball. Also Lacrosse and maybe the Blue Jays can get another World Series. Loved Joe Carter’s walk off homer in 1993 Happy Birthday Canada...always enjoy dropping in over the border. You are correct in being nice. I’ve been to Quebec, Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, Victoria Island and WhitehorseTerritory. Partial to Vancouver as those were my college days and managed some great fun. Only in Canada eh

Canada, our home and adopted land. True steamy love, for all of us that can. With pumping hearts, we see it rise, it's hard and strong as it enters into thee. Canada, don't change your plan, and no one will ever flee.
