almost a year

It's been almost a year since my wife was hospitalized for an illness that I will not go into detail about.
However, it has been almost a year since we have had sex also.
I'm not going to say the idea of being unfaithful has not crossed my mind.
What do you think about this?
She has told me over and over that she has no desire for it.
So should I stay faithful, or start looking?
The illness was nothing to do with that part of her body.

 when she says she has no desire for it, that is your cue to ask her what she would like you to do about that, or what she expects from you. My hubby just doesn't have any desire due to medical issues, and ended up telling me to go elsewhere... so you never know.
