++ Food dilema

I am going to make one of two choices today. One of my go to is lasagna or spaghetti . I am not a big fan of pasta, but these two dishes are stomach filling delights. . With the spaghettis, I tend to tomato sauce and meat balls. I do recognize the ones that enjoy a "white sauce, cheesy style" though. I am not to pure in that I do enjoy mixing the sauce and noodles in a pot and serving from there. A huge treat for me is lasagna. To me it is a robust, belly filler. Full of meat , cheese and noodles! . And it is easy to be naughty and take huge chunks of it. What a warm and cozy day when one of these delights are served. And actually I enjoy making them also . My other favorites are soups and chilis, I will do a post on them soon also. Are spaghetti and or lasagna on your comfort food list? Do you make either of them? IF you had to make a choice, which would you choose for today?

Lasagna for me. All that gooey sauce, cheese and meat. What a great treat

I make both but don't consider either a "comfort" food. My choice for today would be spaghetti.....I have all the ingredients and it's easier to make for one.

When the weather is cold, my go to comfort food is spaghetti topped with chili and a large mound of shredded and melted colby/jack cheese.

Both are great choices. I would pick the pasta with white sauce. Hugs V

One of my "signature" meals is lasagna. My kids love it, and when I visit them, I try to make it. They also love when I make my chili.

My comfort food is a baked mac and cheese. Only 4 ingredients, and it's easy. I don't make it often because I still haven't figured out how to make small batches, lol. If I make it, I'm eating it twice a day for a week.

Which one did you decide to make?

I love spaghetti and have it quite often, both with and without meatballs. I also enjoy it just mixed with a bit of butter, and lots of parmesan.

I have a super recipe for lasagna, but haven't made it in years - especially since I live alone. The last time I actually made it from scratch was about 7 years ago when I had some family members over for dinner.

This is a great reminder to add it to my grocery list, for when I go shopping later today. Sounds like I'll be having lasagna, garlic bread and ceasar salad for dinner. The wine is already chilling in the fridge.
