*** Military Spouse Day
Military Spouse Appreciation Day is celebrated on the Friday before Mother’sDay in the United States. Many United States citizens take this day to acknowledge the significant contributions, support, and sacrifices of spouses of their Armed Forces.
Having served in the U.S. Military for 30 years and married during the career, I am huge advocate of this celebration!. It takes a special person (man or woman) to support a military member. Putting up with unpredictable schedules. Being away from the spouse when they deploy overseas. Sharing your love of him or her with their dedication to their military career. And then just to keep things interesting keeping home, hearth and all in order and healthy alone much of the time. And to keep it up through out the career to me is amazing. My hat is off to the military spouse of the world.

 It's too bad a day had to be designated, for military spouses to get the recognition that is due them every day.

I cannot even begin to comprehend the sacrifices and hardships that military and their spouses endure.

My hat's off to you, for your service (and to your spouse if you have or had one).

 Though members of the military have it difficult many times, I appreciate that their partners also have it difficult albeit in a slightly different way.
