Trump stonewalling

Trump is trying a new strategy: claim the impeachment inquiry is not legit and stonewall. The push is more political than legal. The claim that the Prez can direct the House proceedings is laughable. As in crazy. The Constitution says it is up to the House.

Impeachment is like a grand jury. No right to force a trial for an indictment. The trial occurs in the Senate where there is a right to cross-examine witnesses and see the evidence. The problem for Trump is he has admitted the damning facts in the Ukraine, and then asks China to help by digging up more dirt on the Bidens too! Meanwhile there is no evidence of any wrongs by Joe Biden or his . Just more crazed conspiracy lies.

In a just world Trump would be toast by now. In this world the outcome is in doubt.

 Biden finally joined the chorus saying Trump has earned impeachment. Even if not convicted and removed by the Senate, he deserves the stain of being impeached.

 The Founding Fathers were concerned a president might sell out USA to a foreign power. With Trump the fears have become true. Trump cares about himself, his family, money and power.
