Extra terrestrial visitors

Hilary Clinton said she would investigate Area 51 and let us know if there is evidence of extra-terrestrial visitors coming to Earth, if she is elected President.

Lets assume they have visited and we have real evidence to show their visits. Would that change everything?

Perhaps all the science fiction movies and tv shows have been preparing us for the shock and trauma that will come from the actual proof that we are not alone in the universe.

Are we ready to accept there are other life forms in the universe?

Most scientists think the odds are high that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the huge universe. The problem is the vast distances make travel very expensive and inconvenient unless faster than light transportation is available some way.

Religion is going to have to come up with some fancy explanations for the new facts...
