I've eaten lots of uncooked hotdogs in my life, never again. My grandaughters love frozen tator tots and I've noticed they make me bloat, they'll be cooked from now on. Thanks for the info.
Yep funny how we did things without giving it a second thought. Knowledge is power!

    Hmm..

Finally someone else who picks the beans out of chili.
I know right? Eventually, my Mom just stopped putting them in chili until she became an 'empty nester'.

What great warnings about cooking your food thoroughly hun I had no idea at some of these. Great information and I appreciate it so thank you so much. I hope you have a wonderful day..
I found some 'surprises' too.
It's freezing cold here with a break finally expected tomorrow. Hot and well cooked food is the order of the day!

That raw hot dog idea is one I'll reconsider... And I do cut around the green potato parts.. I'll continue to do that, for the once or twice it may happen in a year...
That other stuff.. never thought of eating them raw. Hmmm... 🤔
I was surprised too that some people would even think to eat some of the stuff raw.

No doubt there are lots more that we should be sure to cook before we eat. Would love to hear if anyone knows other ones.
And if this one doesn’t appeal to you, check out the rest of my blog.

It's great to have the freedom to write and include virtually any topic on my blog. Some may think it's strange to include things of a non-sexual nature since this is a sex site....but it's my space to fill as I want.

Shake my head sometimes 🤔, when I hear about the strange things people will even consider putting in their mouths 👄

I'm guilty to eating a raw potato now and then, but never if there's any green (or even brownish) spots. Oh no no no no no!

Even a baked potato will start turning funky, if left out after a certain time and not eaten or refrigerated. I've had food poisoning off of a baked potato from a popular fast-food restaurant before; not pretty!

I've never had any issues with eating a raw potato, though I only eat one small sized when I do, and not all that often or rarely it happens. Could be my 1/3 Irish genes...

Hmm, I don't eat beef hot dogs, but guess I might want to reconsider cooking my chicken or turkey dogs next time...

Yep, I think most of us are guilty of eating a raw potato 🥔 or portions of one, particularly when peeling them. Thanks for stopping by and sharing your experience.

I took a safe food handling course a couple of years ago and with a few obvious exceptions they suggested cooking everything thoroughly. There was a case of botulism at a family BBQ that resulted from precooking baked potatoes and leaving them in the foil wrappers at room temperature for several hours. The botulism spores are resistant to heat so even though they reheated the potatoes, everyone got sick.

That's my Cliff Claven moment for the day!

Yikes - what a way to spoil a family BBQ eh? Good thing it wasn't worse.
Yes it's amazing what people will do with simply not thinking it through.
