Much needed vacation

What a long two days. 21 hours of work in 31 hours. Blah, where is the fun in that at all. After all that I just feel like I never left.

After work went straight to summer hockey. Had a good time over all even though we lost and were knocked out of the playoffs. Even the hockey game felt like work though. One of my team mates was hit in the face with a stick and thanks to work I have some medical training. So I got to deal with that while I was trying to work out some stress.

All I can say is that I am beat now and nothing feels better then to sit here and watch some Olympics with a nice cold beer.

Follow this seemingly long weekend with another 10 or 11 hours at work tomorrow.

After that it is time for a break. Not just a day or two off but 14 days off. I can't wait. What better way to spend 2 weeks off then to just take a trip to England and Scotland. Going to see some new places I haven't seen before, maybe try and catch an Olympic event, try to catch some theater and just enjoy being off of work and in someplace I haven't been in years.
