It's a man's world it seems in the Rochester/Western NY Blogosphere. Why is it only men blogging here? We have 1 Female from Buff that is a regular and an occasional blog from W NY sporadically but every time I check the blogs it is just men..usually the same prolific ones.
Is it just this area? I read lot's of blogs from all over and it seems we have a profound shortage here..is it just me or is this true?
I am a voracious blog reader cause my puter is old and slow(Hmm reminds me of me) and I do not chat or even try to meet anyone I just like to read blogs to marvel at the human comedy online.
Just curious ..am I off base here or???

How long(Time) is too long?
You all know the old "Use it or lose it" axiom.
I wonder if anyone has an opinion or idea based on experience how long is too long?
I wonder cause I feel I maybe might in the waited too long list.
I also ask cause (ok I know it's Hollywood) I was watchin a movie with Kevin Costner and it was 7 + years and another with Ben Affleck after losing their wives and it was about the same amount of time.
Ok I know I am not Costner or Affleck( Obviously )then Costner was offered sex from Liv Tyler when she found out cause she felt he needed it and deserved it(Yeah right like that would happen)
And of course he gratefully declined(Again yeah RIGHT)
Well thanks for indulging me as I do not write many blogs and would
love your honest feedback.

The Kennedy center Honors was on last night..Great show..James Taylor Mavis Staples The Eagles ETC...The President and first Lady in attendance. I could not help thinking it could be the last one..at least the last one televised or even with a SRO crowd,, How can they continue with the theme of integrity,tolerance,acceptance and forward looking artistic thoughtfulness with the POTUS being an insufferable repugnant ill mannered cultural ignoramus?
JFK will be spinning in his grave!

care.He will not put a 35% tarrif on China or Mexico.He will not overturn Roe V Wade and on and on..he is a proven con man
that will say anything to seal the deal and the Rubes bought It.
Our Government is not a dictatorship and there are checks and balances,no one man can be "The only one that can do it" and
just cause some huckster tells you he is gonna do something does not mean he can or will or he even really intended to.
He was a NY liberal a Pro choice Democrat till he wanted your vote.
He is a draft and tax dodger that feels it is a loser that pays taxes.On the bright side he once even said he is for
universal health care..That would be brilliant..why should we making insurance companies wealthy and burdening business with
this ever rising expense?
Oh he DID say these things it is on video.
He is way over his head internationally and the rest off the world is aghast We the people have chosen him.
Let us pray he is scamming us about the Paris agreement and the climate change denying rhetoric or we will all be in serious
trouble.More droughts and wild fires more people unable to sustain themselves in these areas and going to the cities to find
Gov. unable to help and then protesting and fleeing to countries unable and unwilling to help.. More floods rising sea levels
and super storms.
He has damaged this country already by making hate ok.
His deplorabels are rising up with ugly acts and white power slogans defacing property.
Young people in the streets protesting his election..the man has caused a lot of trouble on all sides.
Maybe he really is not contemplating using nuclear weapons,he did ask "If we have them why can't we use them?"
Oh yeah another promise is wipe ISIS of the face of the Earth..
What the hell does that mean?? I guess he does know more than the generals and people that dedicated there lives to
international conflicts and diplomacy.
He has a good brain,,just ask him if you need proof!
Maybe the 75 lawsuits against him will
help to make America great again.
All those that did not vote are just as responsible for this unfortunate mess.
People wandering lost and thirsty in the desert will be drawn to the mirage...and when they get there they will drink the sand.
We have drank the sand.
History has many examples of people drinking sand...
Our only slim hope is if past behavior is any indication of future behavior he has lied and broken promises and changed his
views to achieve his ends..I am concerned though because he is a thin skinned narcissistic asshole.

Wow.I'm no sports junkie or to be honest a big follower of the Olympics but MAN OH MAN the USA is really doing great!
If this is a measure or reflection of a nation and Her people we are a GREAT country, I think it's fair to say.
Yup America with all it's problems and tribulations is arguably still the greatest country on Earth//

In responding to a post I just kinda made this up embellishing on something I once heard.
I'm not married..But maybe it's cause like someone said "Marriage is like a hurricane..at first there is a thunder and lightning everybody is sopping wet and trembling then comes the blowing and sucking and screaming with arms flailing and the next thing you know the house is gone!

Wow..i just read a blog about a woman who can't find a guy with a place to play.
I got a place my problem is my computer is so old and slow I can't even chat or I don't know how or something..I am not gonna get a new one anytime soon..when my late fiance died we had just bought this house and a new computer is not in my budget.
I just get women with gold balls looking at my profile and either not liking it or not bothering to write or I get this from Berlin..

So now the schools have armed guards so the freak will just go somewhere else with the gun...
Let's see...Hmmm... All EMT"S should carry assault rifles(Gotta match the firepower) all movie ushers,Mall employees,McDonalds cashiers,grocery store cashiers,anyplace where 10 or people gather cause ya gotta make it worth while to be able to shoot all those bullets ya got!
Sorry NRA but we can't shoot our way out of this problem.
Congress need not worry,they have security..it's all the rest of us poor sheep gonna be slaughtered.
I wonder if the freakin brilliant talk show radio guys have security too?? Just sayin..

Dear friends, it is with the saddest heart that I have to pass on the
following:
The Pillsbury Doughboy died Monday of a severe yeast infection and
complications from repeated pokes to the belly. He was 71. Doughboy
was buried in a lightly greased coffin. Dozens of celebrities turned out,
including Mrs. Butterworth, the California Raisins, Hungry Jack, Betty
Crocker, the Hostess Twinkies, and Captain Crunch. The graveside was
piled high with flours as longtime friend Aunt Jemima delivered the
eulogy, describing Doughboy as a man who "never knew how much he
was kneaded".
Doughboy rose quickly in show business but his later life was filled with
many turnovers. He was not considered a very smart cookie, wasting
much of his dough on half-baked schemes. Despite being a little flaky at
times, even as a crusty old man, he was considered a roll model for
millions.
Toward the end it was thought he'd rise once again, but he was no tart.
Doughboy is survived by his second wife, Play Dough. They have two
, and one in the oven.
The funeral was held at 3:50 for about 20 minutes.
I know this is not new but It is amusing.

Recently it occurred to me there seems to be a growing list of people and things the"Powers That Be" (PT have been discounting in a remarkably inaccurate way..The latest being tha basketball player Jeremy Lin.
Please note I did not say "Basket ball Star" although he is, the PTB had him un drafted and discounted and on the bench so the "Stars" could play...Untill he got the ball!!
I do love how the PTB in the suits sit on their hands thinking they know it all and miss the bus as it passes right by!
A local Rochester note "Kodak" invents digital camera and the PTB says
"Oh were not worried..we will aways be making film it makes better photos,besides do you really think every body is gonna have their own personal computer in their house?"
I've got an amusing list of others...can you add to it?
