Why are we still in a racial fog?

Well it's the Broad with Class opening her big mouth again. I have one question to ask, why are we still living in racial turmoil? Can't we get by with being one people with many looks and different personalities? Why is the word nigger or niggas still being used? And it's being used by baby boomers, people my age, are still using this word as if it's a compliment. I myself find it offensive and rude but I am just one of many and I can't speak for the rest of the web site but I am just about tired of it. I know the word means many different things and is not actually directed at the Black race but it's aimed at the black race and when directed that way it's used in a racial tone. Maybe I am just a tad over sensitive and I just needed to vent but when I go to a chat room I go to enjoy the people there not hear a bunch of trash talking. I just want to enjoy my membership but it's getting hard to do with all the drama that is happening of late. I want us all the have a good time whether you make a love connection or not just be mindful of other peoples feelings when you open up your mouth th trash talk someone. The words might be aimed at a particular but your words might offend someone else, like it did me last night in the chat room.

Have a great and safe Super Bowl Sunday and have a Zellie Day on me...............

You are not SUPERsensitive.
Just sensitive & observant,
and right on the mark at that.
Unfortunately, I must agree with you.
How long will this prevail - I don't know.
Now and then, there are some signs of change for the better.
The recent presidential election being one.

Sometimes we have to decide to grow up and try to get along. I see everyone as equals. We all have to occupy the same space. But, there people out there that don't want to share.

Some people are just idiots. We'll never be able to breed that out of the human race.

Cause most people are frigging idiots and still judge. Don't think that everyone is this way, unfortunately they (racists) are still out there. I pray to God I never become that way because beautiful people come in all colors, shapes, sizes, etc. Hell I think I'm good looking but nobody else does. lmao. Love Ya, Eric

It is not the color of the skin or the words to describe a person that counts. It's ATTITUDE baby. When we judge by philosophy, rather than skin color, things will change for the better; or was the Reverend Dr. King taken away too long ago that we have forgotten the content of what he spoke?

My experience with racism and bigotry has for the most part shown that those who hold those lame opinions normally have an IQ equal to their shoe size and were asked to leave school after their 8th year of grade 6. Racism is bred primarily from ignorance and fear. Fear of the unknown and fear that the object of their negative attentions just may prove to be superior in some way. If we stop long enough to find out that most of us are pretty much the same in our needs and desires racism dissipates. Just my opinion.
